I. Eligibility and Application Requirements

1.Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good physical and mental health.

2.Academic qualifications requirement: Applicants for master’s programs must hold a bachelor’s degree or above and demonstrate excellent academic performance.

3.Applicants must also meet SISU’s requirements regarding academic ability and other relevant admission criteria.

III. Fees (in RMB)

1.Tuition: 20,000 RMB /year

2.Application fee: 800 RMB /person

3.Insurance fee: 800 RMB /year

4.Accommodation fees:

Double room: 600 RMB /person /month  

4-Bed room: 300 RMB /person /month

IV. Application Procedure

1.Applicants log in to the SISU International Student Service Platform (https://sisu.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx) to complete the online application and submit the required materials.

2.SISU reviews the application materials and assess the applicants.

3.Successful applicants receive an admission notice and related enrollment materials by mail.

4.Application deadline: June 15, 2026

5.Enrollment date: September 2026

V. Required Application Materials

1.Scanned Copy of the First Page of the Passport

Applicants must submit a clear scanned copy of the first page of their passport whose validity period should be later than the expected graduation or completion date.

2.Notarized Highest Academic Diploma

If the applicant is a current student, they must submit a certificate of expected graduation issued by their attending school (must be in Chinese or English;otherwise, a notarized Chinese or English translation is required).

3.Academic transcripts

Applicants must submit transcripts covering their studies from the undergraduate level up to the most recent semester. The transcripts must be issued and stamped by the academic affairs office or relevant student administration department of the institution attended (in Chinese or English; documents in languages other than English must be accompanied by a notarized Chinese or English translation).

4.Language Proficiency Certificate

Applicants applying for programs taught in Chinese must provide a valid HSK Level 5 score report with a minimum score of 180.

5.Study or Research Plan in China

Applicants must submit a study plan in Chinese or English of at least 1,000 words.

6.Recommendation Letters (in Chinese or English Only)

Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation from professors or associate professors, including the referees’ institution, academic title, position, and contact information. The letters must be written in Chinese or English only.

7.The Physical Examination Form for Foreigners     

Applicants must undergo the medical examination strictly in accordance with all the items required in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The form will be considered invalid if any items are missing, the applicant’s photo is not attached or lacks a stamped seal across the photo, or the form does not bear the signature and official seal of both the attending physician and the hospital. The examination results are valid for six months.

9.Certificate of Non-Criminal Record 

Applicants must submit a valid Certificate of Non-Criminal Record (must be in Chinese or English;otherwise, a notarized Chinese or English translation is required) issued by the local public security authority, usually within the last 6 months prior to the application submission date.
